Catalog shots for Baur and Wöhrl

Good cat­a­logs tell sto­ries about the prod­ucts pre­sent­ed so it is impor­tant that the loca­tions of the shoots high­light these sto­ries. To this end, Wöhrl and Baur Versand, two com­pa­nies with long tra­di­tions in the retail appar­el indus­try, approached our pho­tog­ra­ph­er Jeannette Brugger for two cat­a­log shoots.

Outdoor photography for Wöhrl in Sweden

To shoot images to appear in the autumn cat­a­log of Nuremberg-based appar­el retail­er Wöhrl, our pho­tog­ra­ph­er trav­eled to Sweden. She took atmos­pher­ic fash­ion pho­tographs at var­i­ous loca­tions against the Stockholm sky­line and on the pop­u­lar island of Sandhamn. The cat­a­log was an invi­ta­tion to take extend­ed city walks in cozy autumn clothing.

Indoor and outdoor photography for Baur Versand

Several loca­tions were used to shoot images for Baur Versand’s „I‘m walk­ing“ footwear cat­a­log. The out­door scenes were shot in Lisbon and Cape Town and our pho­tog­ra­ph­er took the indoor pho­tographs at Baur Versand’s premis­es in Burgkunstadt, Germany. The stu­dio there had been extend­ed to include diverse inte­ri­or rooms. Stylist Heidi Hanke, our cher­ished part­ner on many inten­sive projects, was in charge of the opu­lent fur­nish­ings in these rooms in line with the con­cept to ensure the images tak­en out­doors and indoors would har­mo­nize per­fect­ly in the catalog.
